We have developed a way to get a nice smooth finished look to your 3D prints. This only works with ABS! Smoothing is a great benefit for two reasons. First being it makes the 3D print real smooth without all the visible lines in the print. (Check out our gallery to see the difference) Second reason is it makes the print a LOT harder since it fuses the layers together on the outside of the print. Not only does the 3D print look awesome but it will also last a lot longer.
We are just getting into the designing of 3D printed parts. It takes a lot of knowledge and time to design an intricate 3D part. Using CAD programs is a lot harder than it looks and takes years to get good enough to design even a simple part for 3D printing.
